2021 Show Announced!

We're back with our 5th annual benefit concert for cancer research. This year we're thrilled to welcome back funk powerhouse DJ Williams Projekt, celebrating the release of DJ William's Almost Christmas EP. Grateful Jed, is also back again and will be doing a special performance reimagining the second set of The Grateful Dead's Norfolk Scope 1982 show. Plus we'll have RVA rockers Prabir Trio on hand for a fun opening set. Proof of full Covid-19 Vax is required for entry. Proceeds will benefit cancer research initiatives at EVMS as well as supporting EVMS' Hopes Clinic initiatives to provide free breast cancer screenings for uninsured women in the community. A big thank you to our sponsors Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers, Caliber Home Loans, Smartmouth, and Harvey Lindsay Commercial Real Estate.

DJ Williams Almost Christmas

In addition to our show, this year we teamed up with guitarist DJ Williams to create a special Christmas vinyl. This limited edition EP features DJ’s take on four classic Christmas tunes. The proceeds of the record will be donated to EVMS' Hopes Clinic to help uninsured women in southeastern VA receive access to free breast and cervical cancer screenings. Almost Christmas is pressed on green vinyl by Blue Sprocket in Harrisonburg VA, with hand screen printed album sleeves, and art by Brooklyn based illustrator Nate Cepis.

The Benefit Blend is Back

Our partnership with Vessel Craft Coffee is back this year as well. Grab a limited edition mug and coffee set and help us raise money for cancer research. They’re available in store in Norfolk and online. We’ve got two different mugs this year to choose from.
